peace has been showing up in unexpected places lately...i don't go looking for it but it somehow finds me and washes over me....even in the middle of choas. i'm reading a wonderful book by dr. eric maisel called "ten zen minutes". ten second meditations. yes i'd love to have a full hour of quiet... uninterupted.....but life happens and i've learned to take little bites out of the day instead of trying to swallow the day whole.
one of my favorite quotes is "vision is when you see what is invisible to everyone else". i had several epiphanies...the top one being one should be able to do what you love and etch out a living doing it. the other was birth, much like death, is a constant and i should find something related to one of those industries. being a mother of 2 sets of twins and a middleton cleared up that delimma nicely. the pregnant form serves a visual reminder of one of the many faces of womanhood. i embrace that and encourage other women to embrace that also. sagebelly body casting is my new child and i intend to nurture it as such.....i am grateful for this endeavor.... |
